Hindu thought and philosophy evolved over the Indian sub-continent over last thousands of years. It is the most liberal thought that allows unfettered thinking and reasoning and is a natural precursor for true humanism. Hindu society assimilated whosoever reached India for shelter from persecution, and never rejected anyone. In this excerpt from the famous poem of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the poet gives his own introduction as a true Hindu. Look specially at third stanza, where the poet talks about the assimilation of immigrants by India. Rajiv Krishna Saxena
