भगवान श्री कृष्ण की मृत्यु – राजीव कृष्ण सक्सेना

Lord Krishna was cursed by Gandhari that he would be killed by the arrow of a petty hunter in the forest. As if to fulfill this destiny, Lord Krishna went to Prabhasa forest and rested under a tree awaiting his death. A hunter mistaking his feet for a deer shot an arrow that brought an end to his life on earth. What a life Krishna had lead – so eventful, so utterly in selfless service of the mankind, an epitome of leadership. Perhaps no one has the kind of impact Lord Krishna has on the Indian society over the ages. Thousands of years later, we still worship him, build more temples for him, sing songs about him, give our children one of his many names, read his Geeta and try to emulate his teachings in our lives. Inspiration for this poem – Krishna Mukti – came from an animated video entitled Demise of Krishna” made by Garima Saxena. भगवान श्री कृष्ण की मृत्यु 

कितना लम्बा था जीवन पथ,
थक गए पाँव डग  भर भर कर,
ढल रही साँझ अब जीवन की,
सब कार्य पूर्ण जग के इस पल।

जान मानस में प्रभु रूप जड़ा,
यह था उत्तरदायित्व बड़ा,
सच था या मात्र छलावा था,
जनहित पर मैं प्रतिबद्ध अड़ा।

अब मुक्ति मात्र की चाह शेष,
अब तजना है यह जीव वेश,
प्रतिविम्ब देह की माया थी,
माया था जीवन काल देश।

अब है बंसी की मुक्त तान,
जीवन का अंतिम वृंदगान,
कुछ पल जग में उन्मुक्त हास्य,
फिर चिर प्रलय चिर गरल पान।

कैसा अदभुत था महायुद्ध,
या स्वप्न मात्र मन का विशुद्ध,
कुछ था अंतिम निष्कर्ष  वहां,
या नियति मात्र था काल कुद्ध।

ले कर के आया मुक्ति बाण,
पल में घाट से उड़ गए प्राण,
थी नियति व्याघ का काल तीर,
दृष्टा उस पल के मूक जीव।

जग के प्रपंच सब दिग दिगंत,
इक पल न रुके वे मूल तंत्र,
उस पल कलियुग प्रारम्भ हुआ,
द्वापर युग का हो गया अंत।
